But who can foresee a large chunk being sold or bought at Market without lining Up in the queue? The Smart Money doesn't place all it's chips in queues except to stack the Buy/Sell side to give a false impression of pressure in either direction. They don't want to panic the herd.

Also consider that shorts trigger stop losses to make the price fall rapidly and the same could be said for bullish buying triggering shorts stop losses conversely driving the stock higher.
