    Not really,
    Hydrogen cars would be in fact electric cars with a storage in a hydrogen tank instead of a battery; they will use fuel cells (with no moving parts) to generate electricity.
    However, I think the idea of using hydrogen is used to steal the attention from battery electric cars; I don't think it has economic viability and will slowly disappear.
    The idea of hydrogen cars was promoted during George Bush jr. period and it looks like it was just to show off a bit as doing something for the environment.
    Going back to my opinion regarding hydrogen cars, I think hydrogen fill up stations will not get over the point of "laboratory" scale; we'll see just few of them and, as the article says, it will reach the "astronomical" number of 100 in a decade (this is California being the most advanced in the new technology cars).
    These electric fuel cells cars will end up using maybe methane (LPG) with slightly modified patterns for the fuel cells and at the end will just go extinct.
    I don't see any danger for Li from this space.
