Fair dinkum, what with AMAZON and all the other retail threats
coming to Australia, MYER and Premier should be working together.
If the MYER board listened to Solomon Lew, and he listened to them,
maybe a COMPROMISE to improve things could be struck.
In the meantime, AMAZON and all the others are laughing at them.
It's not retail, it's politics in the sandpit at kindy, nahnahnah.
FYI, store closures have been announced in my area, where the shopping
centre has expanded due to an increasing demographic suitable to the MYER
brand. Ridiculous. Population growth in one area will be up 10% in two years.
Sack the board, IMO, they have no idea.
