The overall sentiment to Oil is still undecided as it keeps fluctuating on a weekly basis. However, if the sentiment becomes consistent, it will translate to all producers and even more to the explorers as they become more attractive on the basis of M&A. Have a look at the IO and gold sectors. First to turn were established producers. This was followed by explorers as sentiment is not neutral or bearish but turning Bullish for the med to long term. At the end of the day Sentiment is what drives a stock.
