I should add that the sell the whole 50% scenario at US$3bo would leave FAR with AUD$688M plus the $52M cash (Total $740M = 16c cash backing) after paying back the US$430M for the preemption.
I should also add that in the above scenario FAR could put $600M of the $740M into a term deposit at say 3% interest and earn $18M per year for the first two or so years whilst they used the $140M to progress DJ, GB etc. Just a scenario but a pretty good one!
