I wish my good deeds on VMS could have saved a friend who recently invested in the Rivian pre ipo.
His first trade ever and he chooses to buy into a pre nasdaq listed IPO via an unregistered broker in Hong Kong who had my friend transfer funds from Hobart to Taiwan.
Broker/Spruiker not returning calls or answering emails. Friend is pretty sure he's done his dough even though Rivian listed at 3 x the pre IPO price.
