"NMR's update this month on its activities included progress on the Takatokwane thermal coal project in Botswana and progress on negotiations on several brownfields opportunities in Af. The draft Mining Options Study indicates a 2-stage coal dev scenario is the optimum for its big 6bntonne+ thermal coal resource, involving a stage 1 open cast, followed by a stage 2 underground op for premium coal, NMR should announce news on its diversification strategy, which we believe will be well received by the mkt."
