In all seriousness, I dont know the timing of these things....otherwise I would be buying CUS for the first time now!!

However, I think the stock will stay around here until the selling dries up (maybe a couple of weeks), and then it will run quickly to 18c. Don't forget, however, that the longer term target is substantially higher.

I thought I would take this opportunity to revisit the ABA update statement to the RBA back in November. The next deadline is the presentation to all parties concerned of the technical specifications by Feb 1 2008. What this means is that all ATM machine operators should have a copy of the tech specs to reformat their ATM's by Feb 1. After the ATM's have been formatted with the new specs they just need to be trialled before going into operation. In essence, however, the banks are saying they cant fit their machines and trial them all by Oct 1 2007. I personally think they are a complete bunch of idiots if they cant do that all in nine months. They have gone on to say that they would not advise rolling out the new system during the Xmas period for fear of confusing the customer so they might aswell roll out surcharging on March 3 2009 instead. Breaking this down, what they are saying is they are prepared to delay 5 months because they will miss the Oct 2009 timeline. No wonder the RBA wanted to dispute these delay tactics.....Next ABA update also due in Feb 2008.
