A few random thoughts after yet another day of disharmony on the threads.

There is no question that the forum is an eclectic mix of opinionated, insightful, genuine, scheming, helpful, misleading, altruistic, and sometimes outrageous and vindictive individuals. The commentary can however be both entertaining and valuable, and on balance it mostly is.

A quick attempt to classify posters would include categories such as:

    - New believers
    - Long term believers,
    - Almost believers
    - CVI Agnostics
    - Doubters
    - Egocentric posters
    - Knowledgeable and successful Investors
    - Knowledgeable and successful Traders
    - Successful Posters (ie they have done well out of CVI)
    - Unsuccessful Posters (ie they have been burnt by CVI)
    - Posters who rely on Technical Analysis
    - Posters who rely on Fundament Analysis
    - Inexperienced traders/investors

The combination of particular trading/investment stances, various degrees of experience, and various personality types provides some potent and sometimes confusing commentary, especially when emotions are brought into the mix.

All and sundry category of posters chime in with information and thoughts that they feel are worth sharing with other forum members. In their own way, all posters feel vindicated by posting and at the very least are able to get something off their chest. Everyone who posts does so for a reason and most of their posts in some way reflect on either their investment or lack of investment in the company.

The problem we have is that depending on which category of poster has a 'brain spasm', it invariably gets shared on the forum resulting in a post that winds up someone else. It could well be that rather than constantly argue the toss with arguments that cannot be understood or accepted by other parties, we should simply recognize where a particular poster is coming from and leave it at that.

Posters who get duped by the misleading posts of others, may well be richer for the experience, and over time will learn to identify which posters best suit their own investment outlook and reflect the personal values and investment guidelines they hold themselves. And if there are alliances on here that support particular agendas, perhaps it is simply far better to capitalise on their efforts on market, rather than attempt to bring them to task on here.

In the meantime, let's not lose sight of the fact that CVI's mixed performance in the market over the last few days, is very much intertwined with an indifferent market to most of the high risk stocks in the junior end.

Let's be patient while management continues to work its magic, and while various perspectives get aired on the forum, coloured by still turbulent world markets and individual perspectives that will always prevent a consensus being achieved.

Maybe it would be best if we simply concentrated on the ball and not the man, and in regard to CVI, the doughnut and not the hole.

    Cheers
    Nev
