Agree. This lets a drowning Potter of the hook. Couldn't deliver anything he promised.
Chinq was not such a disaster, the disaster was Chinq explained by a SP who shareholders no longer trusted, or had confidence in.
Look at the contrast with AWE, who have come through a much worse Bassgas situation relatively unscathed.
SP had yet to prove he could organise a pi ss up in a brewery. The share price collapse had much less to do with short term views of Australian investors.
