I have stated more than once, as it stands Australia shouldn't be a signatory to the UNHCR Refugee protocols ,based on what we are currently doing,(policies initiated by both labor and liberal) as I understand them is plain wrong,ie contrary to the protocols.
If we are not a signatory to the UNHCR Refugee protocols providing we act with first world dignity, I can support the measures we ( Australia ) takes now and presumably into the future in relation to our border policy.
