Lonrho Mining’s consultant geologist Manfred Marx believes that the results to date from the
Lulo survey are the most encouraging that he has witnessed since the discovery of the Orapa
Mine in Botswana in 1967.

That mine is the biggest open cut mine diamond mine in the world.

Also the alluvial diamonds look promising with an average of 9-20 carats per100t in colonial times from rivers up stream from the proposed sites.

They have producing mine so the are getting some cash in which is always positive.
