I don't know anything about that..... what I see is that "religious protections" enable religions to discriminate against people not of their own beliefs.
its fine to the religion to adhere to their beliefs, but no reason whatever to enforce/indoctrinate children into a faith without allowing them to think critically or to know about other religions.
sure religions can run schools. its been that way since the advent of Franciscanism. but kids need real education and critical thinking, not having a singular religious belief shoved down their throats without the opportunity to learn of comparative philosophies/religions.
