It should be up to parents, we need more parental responsibility. If parents send their kids to a school they want all the teachers to align with the expectations that the schools set. Whether or not religion is included is a separate issue, but anything can be taught with a bias, and parents don't want bias being taught when it does not align with values. If you read the current curriculum it is full of garbage. They need to teach useful skills, rather than trying to brainwash.
