Anyone know the maximum length a company can be in a trading halt?
Ive found this in the asx rules "17.1.1 The length of the trading halt cannot exceed the period permitted under ASX's Operating Rules"
But I can't find the specific number for 'period permitted'?? I seen somewhere trading halts are intended to be a short term thing, no more than 2-4 days.
CDU must have given the asx some very exceptional circumstances to be allowed to go on this long. I'd assume there is no other choice but a trading halt else they'd be trading insolvent?
Anyone know if there is a maximum period allowed to this trading halt?
The asx have the power to end a trading halt at anytime
