But, what that someone is also failing to mention, (intentionally perhaps), is the situation that the user of margin lending are finding themselves in where, even without being able to sell any of their shares, they will still have to meet/pay interests on their loans. Yep, the clock is always ticking for them, regardless of where their shares are trading or not.
Contrary to that, and to what "that someone" is saying though, is that, in the majority of cases, if not always, the short sellers have already got the cash from the short trades into their bank accounts and "making hay while the sun is shining".
