As a test of his faith, a man threw himself into a lake...he could not swim.
As he gasped for air and thrashed about, a passer by offered him his hand, but he refused, declaring it was a test, that he was waiting to be rescued by his faith.
Nearby fishermen, aware of all the splashing about bought their boats along side to offer help...but once again the man declared he was testing his faith and was prepared to die in the process.
Finally, a woman on one of the boats through a life-bouy into the water withing reach...still he refused.
He eventually drowned!
When he met his god on the other side, he declared his disappointment...why did you let me die, why didn't you reward my faith in you...why didn't you help me?
But I did send you help he said; first a man who offered his hand, then a boat with plenty of room...and finally a life bouy.
But you refused any help...d!ckhead!
