Building more dams is clearly what Australia should be aiming for.

A decade ago, Queenslanders were faced with the spectre of having our dams filled with recycled sewage under the disastrous Bligh regime. Fortunately it rained and the threat subsided, however subsequent governments have failed to plan for the next major drought and build more dams.

Recycled water is a euphemism beloved by some, code for recycled sewage. One of the logical consequences of pumping recycled sewage into our dams would be an exponential growth in the sale of bottled drinking water - billions more plastic bottles to pollute the environment annually. The flat earthers are those who prefer to drink recycled sewage rather than harvest fallen rain via dams.
