It is futile , IMO, to hurl personal insults at one another when offering a reasoned opinion on the likely outcome of the next Comm election. This could be an interesting topic and allow free and fair discussion about the state of the nation, what the major parties' policies are and will these policies likely remedy the problems facing Aus now and into the future?
Now wouldn't such civilised discussion be in accord with HC's aims, be educational and useful....eh?
So to have a sensible political discussion on the merits/demerits of the respective parties' policies we'd have to agree on what Aus problems are and if/and whether they need remedying and, if so, which policies would likely produce the best outcomes.
This is a political thread and, IMO, this is what political blogging should be all about, not name calling/defaming and being generally nasty to oneanother...eh?
