I suppose 14 cents fully franked us not good enough for some greedy investors If another 14 cents fully franked dividend is paid in the second half of the financial year the total return is not too shabby.
The question is how far will the share price go down. About 11 months ago it was $2.93. This occurred while the GFC was deteriorating
Ken Henry stated unequivically yesterday, that the recession is over. I believe Telstra are still trimming the fat and improving customer service as well as offering the deals to get new business. If the share drops below $2.90 IMHO it will be attractive to me
Those that want a steady return on their investments could be hard pressed to find a better deal in the sharemarket at the moment
