Interesting strategy, if true or not. No one can complain if it's true. We are all in the market to make money, whether we classify ourselves as investors, traders or gamblers...we all want the same end game. Otherwise stick your money on an interest bearing deposit.

"Long-term investors" always take the moral high ground.

As to the Chinese / Asian side of this thread...it has been interesting to note the hand wringing in the media about Chinese Minmetals taking over OZ Minerals, or the RIO buy-in. You don't get the same huff huffing when Billington and BHP merged, or any other involvement of UK, US or Canadian interests in Australian miners.

In general, we have all looked down our noses at our Asian neighbours. Times are changing, and so will attitudes. I work in China and have respect for their work ethic, but prefer to lie back on the weekend, go to the beach, have couple of beers and a BBQ.....we are going to be steamrolled..LOL.
