In hindsight thats probably where it all went belly up.

Rana departing and then leaving a captainless ship.

Correct me if I am wrong but before the deal was finalised (ie Dec 2011) I cannot recall that we ever got word that Rana was leaving/retiring.

From memory our first indication that that happened was in Jan this year.

And this is what really p!sses me off as it was obviously on the cards and we were not told he was leaving or that nmdc was going to get an interim chief or that the incumbent was being held off due to corruption allegations.

Hindsight is a great thing but this was the beginning of the farce that lcy has been on for the entire 2012 year.
