The healthcare sector managed a small rally today of 0.2% to 7,974.1 points to round out a busy news week for the sector.

The benchmark All Ordinaries climbed 0.3% to 4,293.1 points reflecting the moderately higher U.S. equity markets overnight.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose nearly 0.4%, to 12,623.98, the S&P 500 gained 0.5% to 1,314.50 and the NASDAQ added 0.7% to 2,788.33.

Leading the small cap stocks up was magnetic drug delivery company OBJ (ASX: OBJ) with a 17.6% jump to $0.02."
