rod178 you do realise the cited costs in the scoping study was a guess of the upper limit on the cost estimate per ounce - without any detailed study on the extraction of the Ag/Cu to underpin that guess.
The Ag/Cu are part of a refractory tetrahedrite, plenty of silver/copper companies that mine it profitably and at reasonable cost. SVL is still at an early stage in its development as a miner, by the time feasibility studies are complete I'd expect the company to be recovering 75%+ of Ag and producing at a cost of $12-15/oz.
If I may tease, if you'd care to do a little research:
"Alkaline sulphide treatment of the ore under suitable conditions was shown to leach out up to 85% Sb, which remarkably improved the extraction of silver from < 18% up to 90% Ag in the subsequent cyanidation step." - Hydrometallurgy Vol:105 Jan 2011.
