    Seriously... this inquiry is a joke! How can Afterpay be worse than the pokies? It's Australian tax money going directly into the overfunded RSLs, who spend on even more advertising to target the pensioners and lure low socio-economics into gambling. 

    How can it be worse than credit cards? The average Australian has over $4k in credit card debt at 18% interest!!!  That's $750 a year or nearly 1% of the average HOUSEHOLD income wasted for absolutely nothing. 

    I don't understand why the regulators care about consumers responsibly paying for their goods in 4 instalments of the principle with no interest... I can only think that the banks or some interest groups are pressuring them. Just because it's new doesn't mean its worse than what's already out there. Customers are always going to need some form of credit and this is probably the most responsible form available.
