IMO the average retail investor doesn't have too much idea about liver cancer unless they are in the business or have a relative with it. Maybe they like the idea of being part of a "cure" but for the majority the only thing they remember about Sirtex is that all the treatment trials have been "failures" and probably think along with a few pessimistic brokers (who also don't understand cancer) that the market for SIRT is shrinking because it has been "proven not to work". Add on the "class action law suit" half the investors probably think there has been fraud as well. Now ASIC has "convicted" them, and the Chairman has decided to leave the embattled ship. The share buyback is over so the bots and traders can do as they please especially when the ASX is on the back foot.

I mean, really, could the image be any more tarnished and gloomy? They need a good result somewhere to generate investor interest.
