    WHAT A PAIN

    INTRODUCTION

Yes that title could've been about how devastating the falls have been in the share markets and probably more pain to come short term, but that's not what I'm posting about tonight....

Mate, I have done a lot of research in the last year.In a typical year I read around 40 financial/investment books apart from publications, the Financial Review (I only get to read this about twice a week or so) and the odd subscription (I'm missing the Barefoot publications, was a sore loss but did you know that they never once mentioned PAR...it was a good publication for main stream, I regard us as granular specialists, right? *wink*). It was a bit like the loss of Smart Investor, I got so many great ideas from that mag. In fact that's where I got SRX from and a few other choice investments.

In the last full year guess how many books I have read....less than my average. In fact I have read none! I kid you not, I have some 16 books pending that I have purchased and are patiently waiting to be read...I have a further 10 on my list to read in my list on my phone that I personally know I wont get to till minimum end of next year... Huh? Why Mozz, what's wrong, why aren't you reading them?

I have concentrated on PAR research 100% in the last 12 months. I don't think there has been a day/night I haven't had something to do in terms of researching our great company. Yeah I think I'm getting to be a groupie *shock*..It was hard work earning my Honorary Degree...Thanks Edski1!

The Mozz unread library, gathering dust...possibly going to remain unread for some months yet...

Ok great intro but how at all is it related to Pain and Par?In all that research I finally today came across ONE article, the FIRST article I have read so far that properly deals with the working of pain relief in terms of opioids and it's a bl**dy eye opener. Tonight Paradigmers, we take a stab at pain (apologies, couldn't resist) and just how these crazy opioids actually work and why we, through iPPS, will win this battle and be so successful (my opinions only).

The following points are extracted from the article I read, I've added my own headings and explanations. Note: the full article is in reference 1 in the reference section.

    1) A pill a day will keep the doc away?

Nah quite the contrary...in the US and it's fairly prevalent here too, the thinking is, if we feel pain then there is a pill for it that will make us feel better. The doc's are geared up for this, the Big Pharmas push it and incentivise the docs (Think medical conferences held in exotic locations all over the world and they are free, sounds like an incentive to me).

    2) Block not stop.

Opioids do provide some relief by blocking the pain...but Paradigmers listen to this one,,,,how does the body react to this? THE BODY INCREASES THE NUMBER OF RECEPTORS to try and get the pain signal through again! How smart are our bodies and our systems within? The body knows something is wrong and that the pain messages aren't getting through due to these stupid opioids....

    3) What happens after a month?

Paradigmers, did you know that after taking opioids for just 4 weeks it makes you more sensitive to pain because of point 2) above, ie more receptors have grown...so your sensitivity to pain increases and you then feel like taking more opioids to relieve the pain...a vicious circle, we could call it a vicious circle of potential death in extreme cases. I have never seen this in print until this article. I research all the time and I finally come across this after one whole year, kinda my point of the opening paragraph, what then are the chances that the average Martha and Bud3 will know this fact about Opioids and why they feel like they need to increase their opioid medications?? Mate, even some Doc's themselves may not really know the biology behind it.

So PAR-folk, keep up with me on this one, this means that the pain is increasing NOT because of the underlying injury...it's because of these terrible opioids themselves. You think that's not enough...our own bodies make natural opioids called endorphins..once our body systems becomes used to the opioids it simply reduces the production of it's own natural endorphins and it is here when you lose the ability to reduce pain on your own adding to the addiction that will most likely now occur. What chances do most of these patients have? You need to have some resilience to wean yourself off and understand what's going on and what's actually happening..

    4) Hiding behind the mask.

Not only blocking pain, Opioids have been found to suppress emotional and trauma...this is another reason why they are so addictive. Emotional pain triggers are located in the same part of the brain as physical pain. No wonder patients are drawn further into it once they are on Opioids.

    5) Let's sleep on it.

Using opioids for more than 4 weeks can reduce the sleep required that restores and rejuvenates your body. The less of this deep sleep that you get, the more chance you will be sensitive to your fundamental pain. There is greater chance of heart disease, depression and other associated problems.

    6) I feel ecstatic.

Of course perhaps the better known effect of opioids is the europhoria it gives, this also adds to the addictive nature of this potential killer and certainly destructive drug.

    SUMMARY

I always knew Opioids were nasty, but now I am enlightened with the biomechanisms. I have a different perspective and deeper understanding of exactly HOW they are nasty, not just the after effects of overdose and Adverse Effects which get reported in the media. Zilosul® will wipe this clean...it will provide a real solution without being addictive, without being destructive and without fear of being prescribed by medical professionals..

    COROLLARY

Much to be written and posted on the topic of Pain.We have covered it a little in previous posts (New PAR People, click on below words to read more)

    Inflammation

    NGF's

    Pain

But there is more, in the January issue of National Geographic the mag spends some number of pages on this topic.

Time magazine is another that have covered it and at some point I have it on my list to cover it in more detail as well, it's very relevant to the actions of IPPS and the workings of the NGF.
