"...
but there is so much stuff posted here that is incorrect, IMO."
Sadly, as it has transpired, most of the incorrect stuff posted here has been by those who promoted CGB both on this forum and to others via a "
company transforming" capital raising. It was once considered to raise at 8.0c per share - what a frigging joke - and yet there were many defending that position. It was subsequently scaled back to 3.5c. And how many PDS's were there?
However, much of what was posted by a number of posters was incorrect. I feel for those posters who purchased shares with a view to capital appreciation in this gravy train. Losses in excess of $44,000,000.00 - what other metric do you need?
One could, I suppose, add the fact that as the SP collapsed, and shareholders wealth went zooming out the window, the shareholder dollars still flowed out of the CGB bank account to ... well ... have a read of the published accounts and make up your own mind. And the director who promoted the shares in the "company transforming" CR didn't even buy any. And yet we are treated with a response about dividends and low cap stocks. Seriously?
I think that
@Ex Oyster farmer recent posts, although worded with some misplaced passion, were not too far short of what are the essential facts.
I also think that the point about "dividends" is a lurch back to distraction. It is interesting that the choice to highlight the point about dividends but the poster seems to have walked straight past the losses point. The SP sits at 2.9c (when after the 25 to 1 consolidation one might have been expecting it to hold at 5.0c) - accumulated losses in excess of $44,000,000.00 and there's a discussion about "dividends"! The directors have not missed a pay day and "dividends" 101 is the focus.
And this, "
I think you are referring to an "overly ambitious" statement made by the "Ex-Chairperson" of the company when the share price was at its peak back in 2017."
In the opinion of others, how many more "overly ambitious" statements were made by company officers?

Amen!
