It is very evident from every producer and explorer in the lachlan fold ore that drilling results are good for defining reefs but lousy at defining the grade. The simple reason is that the gold is very nuggetty and the chances of hitting nuggets with drills are a bit like your chances of getting a result in Tattslotto. Most drill holds come in lowere than the real grade. Reading of sources from these fields in the past shows that if gold is visible in the ore it will be at lerast1 oz to the ton including nuggets but often considerably more.
This is not WA. It is not SAfrica. It is a very rich gold province, but it does require an IQ above about 60 to understand and the ability to think and reason based on available evidence form all sources what is going on.
Last centurys miners included people who were literate and educated and there is quite a lot of information provided by them. There is also very good information from other LF explorers. The GDR management have been pretty disappointing in understanding the ore to date, but they have found a very good deposit or two.
Message to GDR management-the market will rate your performance after the discovery pase on the gold you produce-not on the number of metres of drill holes you put down. The old timers must be laughing over their ghostly beers.
