    I agree, Waste to Energy generation is a fantastic option. It reduces the amt of waste going to landfill and reduces emission of CH4 methane (a greenhouse gas with double the warming effect in comparison with CO2). They can deal with the toxic flyash byproduct by stabilising it into products like concrete and bricks.. and they can reduce toxic particulates of the incineration process through engineering technologies (i.e. scrubbers). Always wondered why this has not been implemented here in Australia as it is very well established technology in Europe.
