FLC should have written this article , not Oxymem, because FLC has a greater physical presence with plants installed. 90% of all MABR plants installed in the world are in China with FLC, not Oxy.
What this article talks about is Asia's propensity for leap-frogging. We have see this applied to all of FLC's customers in China, Cambodia, Philippines and Vietnam. Don't under estimate the desire for leapfrogging and technological acquisition coming out of these countries. Unfortunately, the bottlenecks are in technological personnel. For @ReXXar's benefit, here is an old article written in 2018 by GWI that details how foreign companies have fared in breaking through to the Chinese market. FLC is interviewed and mentioned. The Chinese spends very little on original R&D. They tend to buy once the tech is proven. The more FLC penetrates China, the more they are a target. But FLC is not a seller of their MABR. Collaboration will be the model. Hence, we are seeing the current model of working with SOE's.
