What needs to be considered with KDR is the depth at which they have to dig to get to the ore. It pretty much starts from 100 meters into the ground so they have to dig out all that dirt just to get paid.

Here at BGS our Li bearing ore sticks out of the ground, and in fact the better quality ore is at the surface which makes the early stages of mining very profitable.
