I disagree that they are a value trap. The notion of value trap to me is also like catching the old falling knife, but as you were able to purchase them at sub 70-80 cents a while ago and they turned out to be a nice investment. If you bought at 1.35, then I you would have hoped the turnaround continued on.
I think they are in a far better position than say 2 years ago with debt down considerably; however, it is a shame that they seemingly cant seem to string together more than a couple of years of good fortune before profit reverses a gear. I have been a long follower/holder, but I have bought in an out a number of times.
I missed this latest smashing, but I recall being Chem Warehouse and seeing their premium shampoo going for something like 2.oo for two and thinking that seemed a little cheap compared to where they normally retail.
