Current plans are for road transport - everyone knows that - except you apparently.
There is no smoke other than the stuff you are suggesting. I suggest that there is a possibility of a railway line being built - either fed gov funded or by ATEC. Ppl have been talking about this railway for years and now with the fed gov. infrastructure initiatives, it might just happen (and many believe this link is well overdue).
ATEC will be assisted by MAK ($30k - peanuts/chicken feed!) and ATEC will fund the railway provided the study shows it will make money. If it can make money then within a few years the line could be a reality - in the meantime MAK sends stuff by road, as already announced/planned. Of course, SH are not holding for this link, but a rail link would just be the icing on the proverbial cake.
As to your other questions:
1. The Port of Darwin has plans to increase its capacity - already announced. 2. Beneficiation is not on the cards - initial production is thought by many to be using DSO, however should beneficiation be required, MAK have suggested processing could be contracted out - we will have to see... 3. CAPEX and OPEX have been suggested only - will have to wait for the BFS 4. Waiting on the DSO figures, but I suggest that MAK already know the approx. tons... 5. Waiting on DSO figures 6. Water? Who knows - part of the study 7. RP anywhere from US@150 to US$350 and indications are RP is going to be stable or may even rise 8. Agreement with land owners has been achieved - not sure is final details are in writing though
To conclude punters will have to wait for more details - that's why MAK is a speccy - however I see little reason to listen/read/believe a HC poster comments over those of the coy.
As to whether actual final details are available, you have access to info just like anyone else - DYOR or wait for the BFS, etc.
