what about the st vincent's death?

Makes you wonder doesn't it? Since this man died this company has come up with some old news about a new business in the USA (yawn!) in which an old application for a patent got through. It came out with a statement about being on schedule to make an application to get approval to start a trial in the USA (well we all knew they were doing that many many months ago!).
They then came out and said they were training people from Norway and the UK to experiment with the product hoping to get approval.

But right in the middle The Australian tells us that a man died a few days after getting this device implanted. It could not have been expected by the surgeon or the patient. He certainly would not have touched it if he had known his number was up. He underwent very difficult and dangerous surgery and now he has gone.

St Vincent's Hospital said they used the VCR product on a woman because of her size. You could assume that distinguished her from their past usage of Heartmate.

But what about the man? What about the tragedy? A company that can't shut up in the media is suddenly quiet?

    Shame.
