the smart move by BHP is NOT to buy APG now and risk the technology doesnt work and have to admit to their S/H that after wasting 3bill they have now wasted another 300mill. they are better waiting till it is proven in a scaled up plant at Newc and paying 600mill and telling their S/H we have bought a technology for 600mill that will make us 200mill per annum (or what ever).

I suspect most other companies will also wait till the technology is proven over the next 4 months but if APG does sign deals with these companies in the mean time, so what? BHP wont walk away from all this just because onesteel want to use one of the technologies.

Will, why did you feel the need to Lekki-bash in this post? It was fairly irrelevant?
