what affect has inflation on cost of houses, page-19

i'm not a renter but some people dont have the opportunity to buy a house ,or houses even if they wanted to its all good and well saying you brought a propety 10.20.30 years ago and how great it is but if you had to buy a property now your not going to get the same percentage rise in the future as you did during the last boom its a lot harder for the young today because your gotta compare 18% on a house of 70,000 to now 8% on a house at 400,000 (just an example) i know which one i'd rather have this generation havent got the best attitude i agree they want something for nothing but its harder to do what some of us have done property has been kind to a lot of people different things work for different people but the market has stalled and a lot of people arent rushing to buy like they were thats the facts cheers to all
