America is paying approx $4 a gallon for petrol and the population are going mental. By my reckoning, at $2 a litre, we are paying close to $7.50 a gallon….. Are we all on Valium? Hardly a whimper from the masses in Australia. Why the disparity? How many gallons/litres are there in a $110 barrel of oil ? How much tax/excise are we paying? And then there are the tolls……hello ! And we are running deficits !!!
