gerkin02,
To be honest I have not done that much research on the play, Pryme has been on my watch list for quite a while for other reason's than the Austin Chalk.
I've just spent a couple of hours doing some searches on SONRIS, quite interesting. Rapides & Allen parishes don't seem to have had any real Austin activity as yet.
The water production on some of the other well's is very high and must eat into profits. The wells in Vernon parish seem to be very gas prone with some condensate production, not oil production as Pryme show in its 20th December announcement.
I also note the oil in the Deshotels wells is around 37 API the same as that in the Lacour-3 well of Anadarko's.
Yet the condensate in the Vernon wells is 43 API and the Dominique well just to the south of Deshotels is listed as 46 API oil not condensate.
The Deshotels wells are also on much smaller choke sizes.
Cant get back into the website at the moment but the Briggs well has hardly produced any oil and gas yet. I want to look at its API number as well.
The change in oil API's and the Vernon gas situations I think really confuses the situation. However there are a number of wells currently drilling so lets see what they bring in terms of results.
