What am I missing?
If the reason for using AfterPayis to provide those who live pay-check to pay-check with an interim interest-freeline of credit, and a credit card provides 55 days interest free for the fullpurchase price, why would anyone choose to pay the purchase price off in fourinstallments over 42 days for the first purchase and 56 days for subsequentpurchases?
While linking a credit card forpaying the installments to APT would give APT users an extended interest freeperiod, I noticed that 80% of the linked direct debits to repay APT are by wayof debit cards. While this is advantageous for APT, it suggests that the poorcredit rating of 80% of APT users disqualifies them from obtaining a creditcard.
