I've checked AFI and A200 over the last 5 years. AFI has returned 7.8% P.A. ( this includes SP appreciation, Dividends and Franking credits ) A200 has returned 7.9% P.A. ( includes same inputs ) I prefer an LIC for reason of simplicity at tax time ( as woolydog stated ) I am 80 and hold 12 LIC's, with my main one being AUI. I did hold AFI for many years, but sold last year and topped up stable mates AMH and MIR. Great to have differing points of view with sensible postings. Riv
