I for one have held my nerve so far. In fact, I have sold up a couple of profitable positions in other stocks to top up on current weakness. I have not yet had the courage to increase my CFD positions which are no longer looking as strong. However, all bar one remain reasonably in the money having been put on pre-May.
I still strongly believe in the rerating of the stock as production becomes imminent and I am anxiously waiting for news that Berge Helene has arrived offshore Mauritania.
As I said on this board a month or so ago, this time of the year is notoriously fickle for investors and I am quite fortunate that I have had a couple of significant wins with AMU and AVO through this period and have preserved reasonable cash levels. I have also benefited from re-entering EXR at lower levels after lightening up post its unsuccesssful well in June. So it's not all doom and gloom.
Many of us have been here before. However, these days I am no longer so heavily weighted in HDR having learned my lesson in earlier years. Good Luck to all holders...
