You really have to feel sorry for our Kev - he fell for the joke and nobody else told him it was a joke. He was left to waste an all night effort with Penny (no pun intended) to no avail.
It was Copenhagenhoopinagen that convinced poor Kev to abandon his ETS plans, which arguably ultimately cost him the PM gig - ably assisted by the duplicity on this issue by Gillard and the world's greatest treasurer.
