If MMN or Alcyone or whatever they call the company has the best potential for capital growth of any stock on the ASX well, I for one would be very surprised.
The basis for your screaming endorsement is the rising silver price
And now the conditions seem to be repeating.
Maybe this time it will be different and the silver price will go ballistic but have a look at silver in historical terms and see what happens to the price, but the again I have heard " its different this time "from a lot of broke investors n the last few years.
Also have a look at the COT reports and how the commercials are short gold and silver at approaching record levels agin which usually portends price weakness.
As a comparison look at the spectacular rise in the oil price a year or so ago and the sentiment at the time about peak oil and how the price was heading then for $200/barrel and beyond.
Well maybe one day but not last year where it promptly collapsed to about $35/barrel.
This from a commodity that the industrialised world cannot survive without.
If your retort is the GFC, explain how demand has only dropped about 3-5% during the same period.
Even now its still less than half the price it was at the peak.
Perhaps the true price is around these levels based on supply/demand and the spike was due to speculation by companies like Golman Sachs which was reported at the time and who promptly sold large numbers of oil contracts just prior to the fall?
Silver is a valuable commodity but no where near the importance of oil so the price correction may be more severe if/when it comes
I am a silver bug, I like silver bullion, but not a fan of this company.
If the silver price is a continued goer the stock to be in will be CXC not this one because the will be throwing off cash like theoil companies were last year and still are, all be it a little less.
Now that U are acting as a one man cheer squad for this new venture please tell me this:
    1. How will the old problems regarding poor yields will be solved by new management ?
2..Please tell me why the old problems regarding purity will be solved by new management ?
    3. Please tell me how they are going to lower production costs given they now have the same costs and the added constraint of a 3% royalty payment?
    4. What plan has management presented that adresses these and other important issues other than injecting fresh capital mostly at shareholders expense?
There are a lot of questions but very few credible answers IMO and under those conditions I pass on adding to my holding.
If U see that as an opportunity go for it but at least provide some concrete reasons why it is such a screaming buy in your opinion, otherwise the assertion that you are a company plant (despite your denial) will continue to raise its head.
As for existing shareholders like myself having sour grapes, well what would you expect having watched the original investment dwindle to less than 1% of its original value all on the back of a rising silver price?
Sour grapes are a human emotion but they dont dictate my investment decisions they merely contribute to my understanding.
