Don't get me wrong... I didn't say it was a bad idea... I just said the profit & loss report wouldn't be as strong as people would expect given they haven't sold 1 quarter's production.

Therefore they will carry the inventory at cost of production - hopefully they will show it clearly in the accounts so we can work out how much profit there is embedded in the inventory.

It is a little unusual for a gold mining company to not sell its gold production.
