Whist I understand the general sentiment here that in life it's good to do things when you say your going to, in this case I don't mind the uncertainty when the announcements are running late. Personally it helps to answer the question : do I believe in the fundamentals here, or am I trading on announcements. I would not only stop the when but also provide less detail on the what of the next announcement; just announce what you have when you get it. IMO reducing forward looking announcements levels the playing field, and limits the games people play with each other.
