thats what they call free options mate. they did not pay for the option did they??? they were FREE.
they have to pay for shares if they choose to exercise the options but the options cost nothing. the whole idea is that you get something for nothing, if the shares are above the exercise price you get free $. if they aren't you don't loose anything on the FREE options they simply expire.

how about the shares issued as part of consultancy agreements??
isn't the sirectors job to steer the company and use his/her knowledge to better the company anyway? so to recieve a salary and then charge a consultancy fee ontop is double dipping is it not? absurd if you ask me.

wonder if kloppers charged BHP a consultancy fee as part of his idea to takeover RIO... LOL

as for the loan what arip off. the company pays out 100k, then gets half back as a loan at 10%.

they would of been better keeping the 100.. and as for unsecured loan, what aload of rubbish, it was a commercial secured loan.

regardless they issued a placement later that year to make sure it was paid back.. thats MAJOR conflicting interest when you have that much power without regulation..
