With real potential that SNN will receive btw 60 odd to 79 million US dollars on the 26/7/10 perhaps a 1 cent dividend might be considered by Directors to all shareholders. Don't think option holders would be eligible. Anyway, 1.9 billion shares multiplied by I cent is roughly 19 million dollars. This would still leave btw 40+ to 59 million US dollars to spend on further developing SSN's quite fasinating O & G opportunities.
A one cent dividend would be roughly a 16% immediate return to share holders which would certainly incite a higher share and option price.
Being only an option holder it would certainly encourage me to pay the 1.5 cents to convert from options to fully paid shares. Company then would receive even more money back into its coffers. (My opinion only but could be worth a thought or two.) Your thoughts on this possible action by company might be worth consideration. Regards, Bernie
