Mao's mention of the 'first step' is so true for the longest journey. Personally, I believe a short step is more in order here; as it appears the train to success has been derailed and/or side-railed. Company Reports give proof of the 1-2-3 count, (before action) being voiced by management year after year after year, without positive results.

A possible cure for the lost and wandering management team might consist of nothing more than sewing their hands into their back pockets, enabling them to become accustomed to finding their rears on a regular basis. That would be a small success and after small successes come the big ones, (successes that is) – Let’s not confuse the subject of running and growing a profitable business with presenting a desired discovery to a market in need, (laser enrichment).
