Hi Semage. One of the advantages of Options over any other instrument seems to be the ability to trade on Volatility rather than Direction. If you’re not a strong technical trader with solid methodology then why not stick instead to Volatility plays with Options and try and find an edge that way.
As for Astro I consider that the highest form of Technical analysis there is. However the people who do this well as few and are between, like Zen masters and it takes years of study. It’s also a very imprecise science and I wouldn’t trade off any suggestions due to Astro signals unless it was as backup to a more simple Technical assessment.
That said however, what I believe Astro is very good at is predicting Volatility, without necessarily being very precise on direction. So maybe that’s an area for further exploration for you.
